David Wiesman

Executive Chairman of the Board

David Wiessman is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alon. He brings more than 30 years of oil industry and retail marketing experience to Alon, having started in 1976 after being named Chief Executive Officer of Bielsol, Ltd., a privately-owned company that owns and operates gasoline stations in Israel.

Wiessman is also Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Blue Square-Israel, Ltd., which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange; and Executive Chairman of the Board and President of Dor Alon Energy Israel (1988) Ltd., which operates a chain of convenience stores and fuel supply in Israel and is listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. In 1994, he became Chief Executive Officer, President, and a Director of Alon Israel, the majority shareholder of Alon USA. Wiessman has also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Alon from its formation in 2000 until May 2005, and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alon since July 2000.
