Hard Asphalt Products
Zero Pen and other Hard Pen Asphalt is offered to meet specific customer needs. These are rated using the Standard Penetration Tests to measure the relative hardness and consistency of asphalt.

Asphalt Cement (ACs)
ALON offers many AC products, some of which have been modified through the addition of elastomeric polymers, latex, and/or other materials during the blending to improve the properties of the finished product. Our ACs offer excellent quality and consistency for use in the manufacture of pavements, roofing materials and other industrial products.

Cutback Asphalt
Cutbacks are asphalt products produced by blending petroleum solvents with Asphalt Cement. Cutbacks may be used as prime coats to prepare surfaces for construction or to provide tack between the old pavement and the new pavement being laid down, to prevent slippage of the layers. In addition, cutback asphalt serves as a moisture barrier. We offer several varieties of Medium Curing (MC) and Rapid Curing (RC) Cutbacks to meet our customer’s needs.

Performance Grade (PGs)
PGs are Asphalt Cements which have been further modified in order to improve their performance. Solvents
